All members of the IGDA Game Accessibility SIG and attendees of SIG events are required to agree with the following code of conduct
SIG chairs will enforce this code in all contexts which the SIG is running, both online and offline. We expect cooperation from all members to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
The IGDA has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of harassment and violence.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events (online or offline), inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, and defamation.
Members asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the SIG chairs may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from events or online forums or mailing lists and similar which is run by the SIG. No refund or other compensation is provided.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a SIG chair immediately.
